Tagaytay City to Host the First National Summit on Alternative Delivery Modes of Education

The Department of Education (DepEd) through the Bureau of Elementary Education (BEE), in cooperation with the United Nations Children’s Funds (UNICEF) and the National Association of Chiefs and Assistant Chiefs of Elementary Education (NACACEE) will hold the “First National Summit on Alternative Delivery Modes (ADMs) of Education” on December 12-13, 2011 at the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP), Tagaytay City.

With the theme, “Providing Options Where the Conventional Fall Short,” the summit aims to: (a) share the best practices by selected implementers in the implementation of the existing ADMs in the country; (b) enhance the participants’ awareness on the different ADMs implemented in both public and private schools with focus on target clienteles, contents and processes including assement; and (c) apprise them on the results of evaluation on the implementation of the different ADMs.
